Yes, my title and subtitle are quotes from the one-of-a-kind, best-in-the-world, ultra-motivating speech Rocky Gives to his adult son in the movie Rocky Balboa.

I wanted to tell you all of this, this morning, and there is no way I could write it better than it’s written in the video above so I figured, why bother?

It is a must-watch if you haven’t seen this movie or speech before. It hits deep and it’s the hard truth we all should see.

“But it ain’t about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward! How much you can take and keep moving forward!”

Those words are the stone-cold truth and we ought to be proud of ourselves because everyone I talk to has some type of struggle going on in their lives that could cripple them if they let it. But they

don’t.

Each day shit happens, we face it and move forward. That takes courage and that’s what we do.

So I just wanted to send this out as a little motivator and to make you all feel proud of how far you’ve come in any area of your life.

And I wanted to thank you all for making Substack such a wonderful experience.

Here’s to more shit happening, and us getting through it like Rocky!
